It its a fairly subtle cap. If you are videoing something else, having this hat as an audio video backup isn't a bad thing. It runs at 30 fps in normal outside lighting, then decreases to 15 and slower to accumulate light across several frames. it may be blurry with motion, but it wont be dark. the audio is decent, slightly muffled, but not bad for a backup.
I recommed this hat as a backup if you otherwise wont have one, and as a video recorder for an outside event if you wouldnt otherwise be making one. and best of all, if you are running another piece of equipment it runs unattended and will be looking where you are. (presumably above your other equipment)
The quality is adequate, and being a cap it will shake less than your hands will, so it will be steadier.
If you have someone who is afraid or unskilled at cameras; this has on, start, and off, then the plug into the computer to charge and copy off. very simple.
