 Awful product, By Goldie Pippin Asia (Boston, MA, USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Digital Mantle Clock Hidden Camera w/ USB Receiver (Electronics) We bought the wireless version of this camera for our elderly mother's peace of mind. It has had to be returned once for hardware failure, and we have had to notify the software supplier multiple times because the software still doesn't work right although it was installed by an engineer. The hardware now works correctly since its repair by the manufacturer, but the software has never worked correctly and continues to record once every single minute despite the fact that it is set to be motion-activated. Emails to the Chinese software provider, Accordiva, result in the same response each time: reload the software and drivers. Well, we've done that repeatedly and it still doesn't work. Imagine trying to look at 1440 images per day (60 recordings per hour for 24 hours) to see if anyone has entered the apartment. I strongly recommend against buying this product unless you have the patience to look through 1440 images per day rather than seeing recordings ONLY activated by motion... Read more |
