The camera can only sit back down (lens up), and no side access. Zippers are weather proof, but difficult to open & shut. My primary goal was to find a bag that would easily fit under the seat in front of me, and accommodate a new longer zoom that does not fit well in my older small bag. Inside, it is of a good size, and with some spare dividers, I am able to carry 4 lenses and a body. The two larger ones stand up, and the two smaller ones lay down under the body. With a slightly different layout, I could also carry 2 bodies and 2 lenses, or 2 lenses and a body with a lens on it.As mentioned, the zippers are a bit stiff, but they are also waterproof, which is a plus, as I sometimes work outdoors in changing weather. If I am working with the bag, it will either be open, or just clipped shut. This bag can take a lenses up to about 9 inches long, but my prime 300 is just over 10 inches and will not fit. The design of it is well thought out, and the materials seem to be top notch, although I would like slightly deeper...
